Using One-Click Sign-In


One-Click sign-in allows you to securely store the usernames and passwords for your online accounts in one place, so you don't have to remember your sign-in information for many accounts across the Web. You only need to sign in once to PIP.

Using the One-Click bookmark to sign in to your accounts Top Top  

After you install the One-Click bookmark, use the bookmark each time you want to sign in to one of your One-Click-enabled accounts. You can use your One-Click bookmark:
  • On your account's sign-in page. One-Click immediately signs you in.
  • From any page. One-Click takes you to your account's Web site and signs you in.
You can also automatically access your online accounts from your list of One-Click-enabled Web sites inside your PIP account. You can link from this list with the same functionality as your One-Click bookmark.

Note: When using One-Click, if you have not already signed in to PIP, you will be prompted to during One-Click sign-in.



Signing in on your account's Web site

Go to the sign in page for the online account you want to access.

Click the PIP One-Click bookmark on your browser toolbar or in the Favorites or Bookmarks menu.

One-Click fills in your username and password and automatically signs you in.




Signing in when not on your account's Web site

Note: Some Web sites do not support direct navigation and sign-in. One-Click displays an alert message before opening the Web site. When you get to the Web site, click the PIP One-Click bookmark again.

From any Web site, click the PIP One-Click bookmark on your browser toolbar or in the Favorites or Bookmarks menu.

In the PIP One-Click Sites popup list, select the Web site for the online account you want to access.

One-Click takes you to the Web site, fills in your username and password, and automatically signs you in.

Using One-Click from your PIP account

Sign in to your PIP account and click One-Click Sign-In on the right.

In your One-Click Web Sites list, click the Direct Sign-In (or Go to Web Site) link for the account you want to access.

One-Click Sign-In takes you to the Web site, fills in your username and password, and automatically signs you in.

Note: For Web sites that do not support Direct Sign-In, click Go to Web Site. One-Click takes you to the Web site's sign-in page. Click the PIP One-Click bookmark on your browser toolbar or in the Favorites or Bookmarks menu to complete the automatic sign in.



Using One-Click Sign-In From a Different Computer Top Top  

You can use your One-Click bookmark on more than one browser or computer. The bookmark can be installed on any computer in any browser's toolbar or menu.

Warning: It is strongly recommended you install your One-Click bookmark only on computers for which you are the only user. Do not install your One-Click bookmark on publicly-accessible computers.

If you want to use One-Click from a public computer, you can use the One-Click links in your PIP account without installing the One-Click bookmark.


To add your One-Click bookmark on another computer:

Sign in to your PIP account and click One-Click Sign-In on the right.

Click the Get Your One-Click Bookmark button.

Follow the instructions to install your bookmark.



To use One-Click without the One-Click bookmark:

Sign in to your PIP account and click One-Click Sign-In on the right.

In your One-Click Web Sites list, click the Direct Sign-In link for the account you want to access.

Note: Web sites that do not support Direct Sign-In display the Go to Web Site link. Click the Go to Web Site link to go to the Web site's sign-in page. You will need to enter your username and password manually.

One-Click Sign-In takes you to the Web site, fills in your username and password, and automatically signs you in.



Managing Your Web Sites Top Top  

Current Web sites supported for One-Click are listed in the "Add a Web site" list. You can add and delete One-Click access for your Web sites, and you can edit username and password information for each Web site.


To add a Web site:

On the right side of PIP in the Links box, click One-Click Sign-In.

Click Add a Web Site.

Select the Web site for which you want to enable One-Click Sign-In and click Continue.

Enter your Username and Password for the account you have with the Web site. You can also add any Notes (optional) about the Web site, your account, or other information. Click Save.

If you have not already added the One-Click Sign-In link to your browser's bookmarks, follow these steps.



To edit a Web site:

On the right side of PIP in the Links box, click One-Click Sign-In.

For the Web site account information you want to edit, click Edit.

Select the Web site for which you want to enable One-Click Sign-In and click Continue.

Edit the account's Username and Password. You can also add or edit any Notes (optional) about the Web site, your account, or other information. Click Save.



To delete a Web site:

On the right side of PIP in the Links box, click One-Click Sign-In.

For the Web site account that you no longer need One-Click Sign-In, click Delete.

Confirm that you want to delete One-Click Sign-In for the Web site and click Delete Web Site.





Changing and Resetting Your One-Click Key Top Top  

Your One-Click key is additional password security required to enable One-Click sign-in. If you suspect your One-Click key is compromised, you can change the key at any time. If you forget your One-Click key, you must reset the key and erase all information for your One-Click Web sites.


To change your One-Click key:

On the right side of PIP in the Links box, click One-Click Sign-In.

Click Change Your One-Click Key.

Enter your current One-Click key, the new key, and re-enter the new key. Click Submit.

Re-install your new One-Click bookmark.

Important: Any One-Click bookmarks you have installed are no longer functional. You must re-install the One-Click bookmark to continue using it. You can safely delete or overwrite the old bookmark.


To reset a forgotten key:

Warning! Resetting your One-Click key automatically erases all previously-saved Web site information and generates a new One-Click bookmark. You must re-enter your Web site information and save your new One-Click bookmark to continue using One-Click.

On the right side of PIP in the Links box, click One-Click Sign-In.

When prompted for your One-Click key, click Forgot my One-Click Sign-in Key.

Confirm you want to reset your One-Click key and click Reset Key.

Enter a new key and re-enter the key for verification. Click Submit.

Re-install your new One-Click bookmark.

Important: Any One-Click bookmarks you have installed are no longer functional. You must re-install the One-Click bookmark to continue using it. You can safely delete or overwrite the old bookmark.



Adding Web site to your One-Click bookmark Top Top  

You can also add a Web site to your One-Click bookmark. Go to the Web site, click your One-Click bookmark, and then click Add this Site. Learn more
